To all the new guys: the way w give awards in this unit is by tracking battle days. for example:

4 Battle Days Indianhead Divisional Patch

4 battle Days Unit Citation

8 Battle Days ETO Ribbon

16 Battle Days Belgian Fouragerre

30 Battle Days Combat Infantryman Badge

50 Battle Days American Defense Ribbon

65 Battle Days French Fouragerre (in addition to the Belgian)

75 battle Days Dutch Fouragerre (in addition to the others)

100 Battle Days WW2 Victory Medal

16 Consecutive Battle Days Good Conduct Medal

Every 12 Battle Days 1 Overseas Service Bar (Hersey Bar)

Every 48 Battle Days 1 Service Stripe

Additional Campaign & Occupation Medals

Senior NCO’s and Officers may wear additional Campaign and Occupation Medals if they meet the following conditions:

Occupation of Germany WW1 Must be at least 41 and have visited Germany

WW1 Victory Medal Must be at least 46 and have participated in a WW1 reenactment

Mexican Border Service Must be at least 47 and have visited Mexico

Mexican Service Medal Must be at least 47 and have participated in a Mexican/ American reenactment

So it is imperative that you track your OWN battle days. The company clerk (that's me) keeps a record, but sometimes I miss a battle or I am busy w/ other duties and might miss count. So please, please keep track of your own days. Also...if you are up for one of the awards above let me know (in a PM) and I will submit the paperwork to HQ for the NEXT battle. We might not give out awards at every event so it might be 2 battles before you get your award. please pm with any questions.

PS: We have changed the number of battle days for the awarding of the Indian head patch. there are several reasons for this...mostly the clerk is lazy and hasn't bought any in awhile.

thank you
