This is the first event of this kind in Santa Barbara. And the First time that a Sherman Tank will be driving down State Street ever! This is a history making event for the Cities of Santa Barbara and Goleta!
City Council is Promoting this event in a big way!! Its the First time this has happened and its going to be AMAZING!
The Sherman, Half Track and the M8 will be in the parade.
ALL 2nd ID MEMBERS are Invited and Asked to Attend by Sgt. K - there will be a party for the participants and public after the event! Members will be taken care of and housed for the duration of the weekend.
- Great Recruiting Opportunity!!
Dress code is late war M43s double buckles etc.

The City of Santa Barbara has issued special permits for 2nd ID to drive ALL OF ITS VEHICLES DOWN STATE STREET! The Sherman, Stuarts, M8s, Half tracks, all of it...Bill would like to see as many guys up here as possible for that parade.
